Fancy Chinese style Western food?
This Singapore-Chinese-Western food has proven its true blue Singaporean taste.

Chicken Chop rice set
Pretty reasonable for its price and serving, you may want to try the chicken chop rice set. The rice is the typically chicken rice taste, together with chicken chop, fried toufu and usual coleslaw.
really, you got to try the toufu; the special black pepper sauce together with the crispyness of the outer flour layer of toufu is just a perfect match. i seriously dislike chicken chop that is grilled till chao-ta, but this chicken grill is grilled to perfection and is tender.
if i had to pinpoint the chicken chop rice set, i would complain the size of the chicken chop. i would prefer the size of the chicken to be larger than the portion of the rice. then that i would give more compliments to this stall :).

chicken chop
my mum ordered chicken chop for her lunch. if you want something less filling, then this meal would suit you.
i love the fries; it's pretty crispy and well fried it till golden in colour. ask me to choose Macdonalds and this stall, i will vote for this stall. i like fries that are crispy on the outside and lotsa potato inside :). thats why its called french fries right? or wrinkled fries in this case?

Providers take it upon themselves to insure the health and welfare of those in their care, but they are also the most sociable of all the Guardians, and thus are the great nurturers of social institutions such as schools, churches, social clubs, and civic groups. Providers are very likely more than ten percent of the population, and this is fortunate for the rest of us, because friendly social service is a key to their nature. Wherever they go, Providers happily give their time and energy to make sure that the needs of others are met, and that social functions are a success.
Highly cooperative themselves, Providers are skilled in maintaining teamwork among their helpers, and are also tireless in their attention to the details of furnishing goods and services. They make excellent chairpersons in charge of dances, banquets, class reunions, charity fund-raisers, and the like. They are without peer as masters of ceremonies, able to speak publicly with ease and confidence. And they are outstanding hosts or hostesses, knowing everyone by name, and seemingly aware of what everyone's been doing. Providers love to entertain, and are always concerned about the needs of their guests, wanting to make sure that all are involved and provided for.
Friendly, outgoing, neighborly - in a word, Providers are gregarious, so much so that they can become restless when isolated from people. They love to talk with others, and will often strike up a conversation with strangers and chat pleasantly about any topic that comes to mind. Friendships matter a great deal to Providers, and their conversations with friends often touch on good times from years past. Family traditions are also sacred to them, and they carefully observe birthdays and anniversaries. In addition, Providers show a delightful fascination with news of their friends and neighbors. If we wish to know what's been going on in the local community, school, or church, they're happy to fill us in on all the details.
Providers are extremely sensitive to the feelings of others, which makes them perhaps the most sympathetic of all the types, but which also leaves them somewhat self-conscious, that is, highly sensitive to what others think of them. Loving and affectionate themselves, they need to be loved in return. In fact, Providers can be crushed by personal criticism, and are happiest when given ample appreciation both for themselves personally and for the tireless service they give to others.
William Howard Taft, Barbara Walters, J C Penney, Ray Kroc, Louis B. Mayer, Sam Walton, Dolley Madison, and Dave Thomas are examples of Provider Guardian

Institute-Varsity Polytechnic(IVP) 2009:SIM ultimate had 2 IVP matches on 21st March and 28th March. with strong perseverance and hard fights, SIM ultimate has managed to clinch 3rd in the "cup" zone, beating this year's IVP champion NYP .
Cup:
1st- NYP
2nd- NUS
3rd- SIM
4th- NTU
Plate:
SP
IVP 1st day:okay i wasnt there. Muahahaha. My parents refused to let me out after the day i lost my belongings at the sengkag field. and so coincidentally, that day's matches was at there.
on the 1st day, SIM ultimate compete with SP, NYP, and CJC. and we won all :)

1st liners
Initially we were supposed to play with NTU on the sengkang field as well. due to the heavy rain, we postponed to thursday, at West Coast Park. i'm quite glad that they postponed it, otherwsie i wouldt get the chance to play in the match. :P

with NTU the darks
and of course, we won them :)
i was really nervous on that day, it was my very 1st competitive game out of all the frisbee games i played. this match is very important for us, to see if we will drop to the losers' pool or remain in the winners' pool.
i remembered one of the points i didnt manage to get because my hand just slipped off when i got the disc from my coach. i was so pissed with myself and so did my vice captain as well.
IVP 2nd day:at NYP stadium
try getting up at 5.30am and reach NYP by 7am. zzzzZZZzzz.
fortunately jason wu gave the west siders a ride there.
our 1st match was with Hwa Chong Institution.
our coach said,"if we lose the match to Hwa Chong, i am going home"
His statement just scares us off.
and of course we won.

Spirit circle- something that ultimates do after each match. a form of encouragement and evaluation and make new friends.
find me! i'm number 6.
Playing with them makes me feel old. i marked a girl during the match who was a JC1 student(ya can talk since i know the disc wont be coming to my direction anyway, hahaha). when i told her i am currently Year1, she asked if both of us were of same age.
i felt like laughing seriously. oh, so you mean i look 17? :)

HCI and SIM
and the match we had 3 hours of break. most of us went to sleep on the tracks, while waiting for time to pass.

as you can see, we left with NUS to get into the finals.
my coach really really hoped that we could get 1st, for SIM to make history in our 2nd IVP. we knew NUS is a strong competitor, but we really wish to bring the cup home. even the officers from the student development came down to support us.

featuring the elites:
from left Bryan(vice captain), Dario(NUS) and Eugene(coach)
this Italian man is really crazy; any shit disc thrown by his team he can just catch it.
and he jumps really high.
the whole team practically relied on him to score. if i am not wrong, he was last year's MVP.
let me show you some power moves:

Ever wonder why are we so hungry for the disc?

Nice forehand by XY

Our newly trained handler Joshua

Our dawn always acts cool with her sunglasses

Spirit circle with NUS
the match between NUS was really a very anxious one for all of us. those sideliners were cheering and guiding those on the field. coach has to ask the A-liners to play, in order to win this match.

we looked all-so-nervous
during time out, we all can see coach was a little disappointed. he knew we wouldnt be able to be in the finals with NYP, but still, he told us to fight it all the way.
I gained alot of insights from IVP.
In whatever things you do, you have to be committed, and do it all 100%.
once you're on the field, the responsibility is yours, yours to score or to assist that point.
1st time participating in a sports CCA and taking part in the most important match for Ultimate, really, i realised many things i thought i wouldnt be able to do so 6months ago.
thank you SIM ultimate :)

my mood has been down since i came back from school today.
i dont know if i did something "right" or "wrong".
i thought i have the responsibility to protect my loved ones, and to guide them to prevent them from going astray.
i thought i shouldnt hide anything from my loved ones, since ultimately we know each other inside out and ya, we are a family.
i thought.
and that was what i thought.
i am afraid that they wouldnt appreciate my intentions, that i am out of goodwill, rather than of evil thoughts.
i am afraid they would distant me one day, and that bond suddenly disappears.
i am afraid that they would desert me, and choose to believe a stranger.
i am afraid they would find me too nosy, poking into their affairs.
I am afraid.
