together with my cousins and aunt, we went to far east plaza and wisma to shop for clothing. kelly has been wanting to spree since the last we spreed together was in July. we are such spendthrifts :p

wednesday was the day of our official outing as an orientation group. pei zhen, Joyce and i met on the train and travelled to harbourfront MRT to look for the rest.


the early birds were waiting for the rest at one corner while the some ah-peks in our group(who were not in the picture) went for morning coffee. after waiting for rebecca to arrive, we went to look for the uncles. as we passed by candy empire, i forced my group members to go in there to explore smarties products for our project. haha. actually my real motive is just to take a look at the yummy chocolates there.. not really for the sake of our project. :) i'm such a greedy person.

we headed to Giant to get our picnic snacks and goodies. the boys did the shopping and the girls just followed along. maybe guys are better at grocery shopping nowadays. but anyways, we didnt even touch our food! except for those who were playing cards under the sun.

we finally went to siloso beach and our sports event started to commerce! we played volleyball, frisbee, football, mini rugby and soaked ourselves in the dirty sea. haha. well, i didnt soak my entire body in the sea; perhaps on about knee length. cos i didnt bring extra shorts to change. we played lotsa volleyball and seriously, i just cant serve the ball!!! totally no strength but my teammates were patient with me. haha.

we played the monkey version of football and everyone starts to bully me :(. i cant kick balls!! only Heng Yi signed a peace treaty with me; he promised not to pass the ball to me. haha. but no worries, im going to brush up my football skills!

finally until 5pm, its time for me to leave cos of tuition. joyce, pei zhen and i left the gang and headed back to vivo for dinner. the rest continued to enjoy themselves. i'm so jealous!

my back is seriously burnt now. it hurts like mad when i am lying on my bed or when i carry my bag by my shoulder. but at least my back is recovering now. i'm tanned now :). i dont like to be too fair anyways.


thursday had project meeting at coffee bean near borders. seriousky, we kept digressing away from our main topic and started crapping intensively. haha. we were chased by the staff as 'studying is not allowed'. but we arent studying what! we are researching. haha. but eventually, we went to burger king and continue our discussion since uncle edward was hungry. we finally finished our discussion and zhi cao sent me to SIM hostel for frisbee since he was on his way back to school.

love frisbee games lots :). the president eugene was like asking me to run all the time. i felt so pressurised by him; he would scold me if i reacted slower. haha. but still, frisbee is fun fun :)


okay, got to MUG!! tests are on their way now :(

on tuesday, Pat and i met up at tampines mall before heading to terminal 3. we were searching for an appropriate gift to give christina, and we hardly found one. we finally bought a cross necklace from chomel. a few of our secondary school classmates to send Christina off to US. so envious of her :(

yesterday my relatives and i went to tanjong pagar for food hunt. my cousins and auntie are totally foodies. they will go to that place to eat no matter how far it takes to go. they are totally so obsessed with food.

we headed to our 1st stop which was the old temask holdings building. the building looks empty, maybe because its a saturday? my cousin treated us to a chicken hot pot cafeteria and their chicken pot is really HOT and ULTRA-SPICY. we ordered a medium pot of chicken and prawns. its really really spicy! fortunately, i ordered a glass of soyaban drink to 'cool' down my tastebuds. no photos were taken cos all of us were so hungry and they wouldnt let me take a photo to show :(. verdict: recommended to chilli lovers who love to numb their tongues off. you can choose for non-spicy pot too, but it will defeat the theme of the cafeteria.

after that, we ate peanut ice-kachang at tajong pagar hawker centre:


the shop's name called Anne's peanut ice kachang. i just fell in love with it right after i took a spoonful of ice kachang. this shop receives many newspaper reviews and tv recommendations. and the serving is damn big! yummy tasty and smacking marvellous :)



then its my turn to be the food guide. we headed to the main branch of fancy delight(they specialises in egg tarts). and we ate those tarts on the spot. i like the original taiwanese egg tarts ans the apple cinnamon egg tart. dont really fancy the taste of strawberry egg tart though.. the combination seems wrong.

and finally we went to chocolat' and spice muffin shop and immediately you can smell the aroma of the freshly-baked muffins. it smells so blissful :). haha. we bought 10 muffins home. sadly there isnt much choices for us to choose cos almost all were sold out :(. i particularly enjoy the taste of orange peel and raisin and chocolate chip flavors. i hope to try the carrot and walnut muffin next time :)

we all went back home with a bloated stomach and i took a little nap before going for swimming at Si Yuan's house.

we chatted while we jacuzzi-ing and sauna-ing. i miss her a lot though i get to see her every sunday during yoga session. there seems to be many things i wanted to her.. and it goes all the way to infinity.

i have to be hardworking now; i going to read up on my ACCT notes to understand all the nonsense inside. Argghh!

here's a photo taken on 8h August, which was JAMIE'S birthday. Sarah suggested wearing shades of either red or white to commemorate National Day. it seems like we were back to primary school days, when teachers would play those typical national day songs and marched according to the national anthem and recite our usual creed.

jamie was really pranked by germaine seriously. haha. germ covered her face with her shawl and walked around the entire school to delay the time in order to get her bday cake from belinda's friend. we stood around the staircase so that Jamie will hear us singing birthday song for her. and she was so so so touched.haha.

i had my 1st frisbee training today at ulu pandan, SIM's hostel. i wasnt even aware that SIM has a hostel! Frisbee is fun!!! love frisbee. haha. but my soles have blisters now and my palms have blue-blacks. :( poor me.haha. finally i had dinner with my newly made friends and teng.

during the 1st week, schools still called me despite telling them that i've started school now. i kinda miss teaching now. looking at those kids smiling sweetly and behaving so innocently makes me melt. but those kids who seems to have escaped from the zoo are horrendous.

i'm still struggling with my tuition classes; i've yet to find another replacement. :( the P1 kids are doing well except for division and my P3 are still as naughty as ever. i always have to stop the boys from fighting in class.

yesterday went out with Si Yuan after yoga lesson to town. surprisingly, i didnt buy anything! haha. in the evening, i went to patricia's place and hang out with Christina and her. we took many photos on the newly built bridge that links to vivo. and when we went to Pat's house, we camera-whored again. seriously, we love ourselves too much. haha. we took many silly photos and laughed loudly as we keep taking those unglamourous and R(A) photos.we felt so foolish and embarrassed while taking those dumb photos, but well, the photos are only shared amongst ourselves, for our own enjoyment :p

i like this timing 12.23am.


when everyone in this house is asleep(except for my bro, who must be clubbing at some clubs),

when the night(or dawn) is pretty silent

when no one will disturb me

and only soothing jazz music is playing in my ears.

l like this feeling, and the silence.

everything seems so calm and serene.

i really wish this time would stop now.

at this time, i would usually be sleeping though if i'm tired. otherwise i would reading a read while listening to love songs on Class95.

but today i will do something different. something reflective.

reflecting on what i have done over the past week, my school life, the way i interact with others, what i have ate today, the seniors and friends i have met in school.




:) guessed i've sort my thoughts now.

i finally have the time to blog now.

yesterday was my 1st day of school. i was kinda excited and looking forward to my very 1st lecture. i met my OG mates for lunch at 12pm and had my lecture at 2pm. i quite happy that my og mates were pretty united and close. but till now, i am quite confused with the guys' names. haha. i never bother to make an effort to remember their names. we chose to sit the 1st 2 rows to be the guai kias there.

sadly, during our 1st lecture, we are assigned with our very 1st project which is to do a marketing plan for a particular service or porduct. initislly my group was all girls. however, most of us felt that its better to work in mixed groups. we even did a vote and ya, this is how we are splitted. my grouo members consists of Edward, Zhi Cao, Khai Wan, Li Tian and Yun Jun. they are all nice project mates. haha. is just that we tend to crap during discussions and MSN.

i went for dinner today with my choir mates. we love thai express and dao paulo!
