yesterday read mr koh's msg to us....bet he missed those times when the K-MEN are in action.. i too missed those fun times we had when we laughed our heads off when prof K flashed us the transparency with all the newly created mutants..

anyway let's kick off with saturday: after our chinese mock exam, teng and i rushed to the shower toilet and bathe to get ready for our concert..since we cant go back home and wash our hair.. after we bathed, we went to the back of LT1 and LT2 to wear our contact lenses.. well, we dun wan anyone to pressure us when we are wearing our contacts.. hhaa... thank god i managed to wear my lenses within 20-30 secs. about 1.10pm, we went to our choir bus..

about 1.45pm, we reached SAM and do some warm-ups.. ms ong did some arrangements to our standing position.. basses and tenors were sloted between the altos and the sops. initially, the lucky guy who stood beside me was keh khiong.. hehe.. after tt ms ong changed again.. so the 2nd lucky guy is Nigel from NYJC..wahaha..

ms ong finally gave us our lunch break and we settled at the neares kopitam food court... most of us ordered lasenge(i hope i spelled correctly).. which tasted horrible.. too creamy and cheesy..yuck! the big gang: winston, ke min, pauline, teng, sze xin, daniel, keh khiong, myself, joey and erm.. cant rememeber liao..paiseh.. we are one of the most noisy ppl there.. so i only can remember those i talked to.. wahaha..those chesy stuffs sort of blocked our vocals-- winston
and i had a hard time singing.. haha..luckily, there's warm up after tt..

7pm was the actual performance.. everyone's gone bersek again! both 7 and 9pm were splendid! simply love performing la.. haha,, after everything has been done, we took lotsa photos and exchange our contact nos.. haha.. missed this concert now.. haha..hope it can be reversed again..but now gotta focus on teachers day concert!

tooday had econs test.. wah..multiplier effect cmi la.. i cant remember much..was crapping all the way.. today silvia and biwei werent feeling well so left early..jae was kinda bored without biwei.. but there's still me and yihan! haha.. anyway..we played netball and once again, i'm the goal keeper.. got some prob playing cos my left elbow is injured.. cant really raised my hand much.. after pe jogged with yihan.. so long nev run liao.. after tt supposedly going to subway with germ and gab.. but becos this germ's bf is looking for her.. so panseh us.. we made a u-turn back to school.. i looked for ter to study..

this my 261th post...wahaha.. didnt realise tt i've blogged for like 2 yrs and 8 mths.. since sec3.. when blog is kinda hot.. everyone followed and signed up a new acc.. however, only a few continue to blog till now.. blog is also kinda hot in my class too ..haha

yesterday had a great fall while playing netball. super unlicky.. wahaha.. tink tripped by germaine's leg.. but nvm.. i'm also very careless.. didnt look where i was running.. and i fell 180 degrees on the floor.. damn paiseh la! =p but nvm.. only my class saw how i fell.. charissa said i simply slide onto the floor like tt..whoosh..haha.. had cuts and bruises on my elbow, rite hand, and my left knee.. tt time i didnt realise my elbow was injured until yihan asked me to stop moving.. cos i tot i can still play netball since only my rite hand was bleeding.. anyway, kaiee rushed to the pe staff rm and get the 1st aid box for me.. and mrs doris lim bandged my elbow for me..

after econs lect, mrs yeo went thru with us our econs test.. i failed my econs test AGAIN... haiz.. damn sad.. but 1st time gotten a double digit considered not bad already..haha.. after mrs yeo left, a few of us stayed back..the guys were kicking the football round the LT3, poh yee was sleeping the table"-_-.. the rest of us sat on the stage.. with germ playing with the microphone.. after a while, we are getting bored so germ suggested directing a fairytale story:snow white. initially we wanted soohuey as our dearest snow white ..but tink she feel paiseh when andre was the prince charming. wahaha..okay, here is the list of the cast:

the story goes like this: one day, snow black was eating her usually meal and she was choked by the pom-pom dish she ate.... fu lu shou tot tt she was dead.. so they laid her in her coffin and weeped loudly..finally, the prince charming came! when he was asking wat had happened to snow black, she suddenly woke up from her death(or sleep), and grabbed the prince and kissed him! and they lived "happily" ever after...
the play is damn lame.. but very entertaining.. if possible i will put up the video onto my blog... if everyone agreed k?

at 2.45, we rushed down for sports day.. i got to rush to byron to cheer cos i'm byron ogl..so gotta lead the rest to cheer.. but eventually a soft response from j1.. J2 were more enthu.. at least they shouted and clapped like mad.. tug-o-war was the most entertaining among the rest.. cos its the 1st time i seen such acitivity during sports day.. the typical ones were usually relays and stuffs like tt..

finally OGLs reunite!.. with michelle, kenneth, jasmine, fabian, yujia, zur, jensen and myself.. but apparently, we didnt tok much like before.. not close anymore.. missed those times we had thou.. surprisingly, byron still keep the flag tt we used during o2... the word byron on the flag was spelled wrongly.. we painted the wording to cover it and at the same time, we decorate it stars(our logo). =)

while i was cheering was byron, my choirmate called me and asked me to prac the teachers day item.. "-_-.. cos i was enjoying myself.. screaming and cheering.. then suddenly asked me to sing.. quite sian initially.. but after a while, it gets 'heated' up and yea, choir times are always fun =p..

today was a break for pjc cos of the polling day.. didnt do much.. had a class outing at sentosa at 1st.. but was cancelled.. ah well, there's always next time.

so damn tired.. left school with soohuey, kai ee, andre, chicken and monkey.. before tt, my PW mates were rushing our written report.. thank god the laptop can be stuffed into my locker since my locker is so empty..

sunday: teng, kemin and i took train to city hall and realised tt we were damn late.. so we ran on the streets with our heels and bags of clothes.. so embarrassing cos ppl were wondering why we 3 gals were running noisily.. haha.. when we reached the auditorium, we were sweating like mad and i was kinda worried tt i will smell when i go up stage.. surprisingly, everyone were putting on their heels and make-up.. so we arent considered late eventually.

abt 5pm, all of us went to the cube(the intermission rm) and do all our stuffs there.. initially our conductress tot tt the toilet has a CCTV watchin us.. but luckily, there's none la.. but somethnig weird is there's no door for the cubicle.. except when u entered the area for washing your hands.. azu, me joanna and karissa changed in the toilet together..haha.. we took a long time dressing up and put on our make-up.. when the guys outsides were banging the door furiously.. but we bo-chap them...

6pm, all of us are ready for the acutal performance.. i tink most of us arent tt anxious like the WE and 1st-timers.. afterall its not exactly our concert and some of us hav some experience in it.. durng the song mui rendera, gals are supposed to maintain eye-contact with the guys.. cos the song is abt a guy wooing a girl.. so its kinda hard for us.. we tend to giggle.. but we controlled ourselves..instead we jus keep smiling.. i must say the performance is fantastic.. very few flaws made.. and all of us look extremely dashing and preety =).. wahaha

after the performace..we took a few pics together with my buddies.. and finally we took a choir foto.. we were looking for anyone to take a photo for us.. i approache a NY guy but he gotta shift the stand so in the end i asked a WE guy to help us.. he asked me where i choose him to take... i told him,
'erm... erm.. (i was thinking fo wat to reply him).. cos u damn handsome...'
wahaha.. ok la.. he's not bad looking though.
'huh, this kind of reason also can!' lol
so when we are ready to smile to the camera, the photographer took a foto of us. meanwhile this guy waited for us.. then everyone finally focus on this guy, i shouted,' hey everyone, look at the handsome guy' and everyone was like' oh karen.. woooo!' haha..

finally we went home with our gown.. kemin said we looked like tai-tai in distress... lol

monday: yesterday felt kinda hot duirng chinese lesson so didnt do pe.. waited for my dad to fetched me home..

kk...signing off now.. must try to eat less to look better in the gown =)

whoosh.tired. today after school supposedly wana have lunch with my class ppl but i dun feel well so i left early and went to see a doc. actually i have headache for a long time.. like weeks.. but i dun really care till now.. hahaha.. had a slight fever.. 37.8 ..and i didnt even realised tt.. yep, doc gave me a MC to rest for tmr.. but i guess i wont be using it.. see how la.. if my body temperature goes back to normal, i will come back to school.. afterall there's rehearsal for teachers day so gotta go back and help my acapellies =).

hmm.. today nothing much.. spent the whole day sutdying.. except during the brake which is after GP, my class went to an empty classsroom and we started playing cards again.. 2 groups played bridge while my grp played asshole daidee. this time i aint the asshole.. at most onli vice-asshole.. haha.. played with andre, gab and fengrui..

i wonder if u will read this post laura.. thanks alot for listening to my woes and grouses.. last night i called my wonderful buddy fron YJC at 11.45pm and we chatted for like an hr.. yes.. i missed her terribly.. i didnt c her for like MONTHS. we chatted over the phone and its kinda hard for me to put down the phone cos i wana talk more.. but i need to sleep..haha.. i poured out my feelings to her.. i teared while talking to her.. finally there's someone who listens to me.. i desperately need someone to tell.. cos i've been hiding my probs in my heart for a very very long time.. preety amazing with myself tt i can still can hold on till this day..anyway c ya tmr =).

3 more days to performance! woohooo!...haha.. ok la.. not so enthu abt it.. worried abt lotsa stuffs 1st..better go study and pack my gp file now.. update some other time..

yesterday's econs test and today's phy test has caused me sleepless nights.. cant sleep, gotta burn midnight oil for the tests.. haha.. bad way of studying though.. but i do not have enuf time to study..finally i can take a break for a while =).

last sat: had choir prac until10pm! we are getting prepared for the upcoming performance on the 20th.. our dearest PRs promote the concert today to the school..i hope to get SOME response.. but apparently my class aint supporting me.. so quite sad loh... but nvm.. cos the tickets arent free and its a budget constraint la.. so i targetted on teachers! ask my deary he lao shi to promote for me.. haha
in the early afternoon we practiced at bible house then until 5pm teng and i rsuhed to raffles city shopping centre and bought subway for dinner.. subway rox! hahah.. then we rished like mad again to singapore arts museum for rehearsals.. finally when all the stuffs are done, we took some fotos and went home..

sunday, woke up at 8 to prepare for PW.. reached IMM macs at about 10.05am and waited for the rest of the grp members to come and all of them were late(except for alvin.. cos we are going to his hse).. wah, next time i dun want to come on time liao.. when we reached alvin's hse.. we did our WR until about 12 or 1 like tt we begin playing asshole daidee when Alvin was struggling with the Data analysis.. andre, me and ivan were playing.. even during lunch, we were playing asshole daidee and bridge..initially got some luck.. was a pres at 1st. but somehow my luck become worse.. i'm asshole continuously la.. wth..haha..nvm.. shall brush up my skills.. =p

monday and today..nothing much.. .oh ya.. lotsa frogs today! before phy test, gab me germaine and biwei went to the lib and study..initially wana go mac and study.. however we tink tt it may be a gd place to study.. so we settled at lib.

k going off now.. i'm too tired now..

yesterday early in the morning, we had our chi 1st lesson.. wah.. teacher jus gave us chi test and i bet i get at most 4 marks out of 50.. all the chi words seemed so hard.. couldnt understand any.. haha.. after tt, he lao shi showed us her pae class doing the presenter thingy.. and i saw Yoke Hwee in the video as a presenter.. haha.. he looked damn funny. he lao shi fnally convinced us tt studying is not all tt is considered for uni admission.. so our grp conprises of biwei, jae, chicken(jonathan) and monkey(junming) were selected by my teacher to sing 1st.. wah.. so paiseh.. most of us dun really noe how to sing the superwoman song.. but we go on and recorded our voices.. and end up, the mp3 only picked up cao ge voice.. wahaha.. too nan ting until dun wan to pick up our voices..!

had an audition for teachers day concert.. and all of us are practing till this day to come.. on thurs we hav make it so perfect tt we can hardly find any flaws in our song. but yesterday, the prac turned proved us WRONG. ahhh!! all of us are screaming and anxious tt we couldnt reached tt previous mark and everyone started to freak out(or maybe i'm the only kan chiong one?) thank god our lovely SLs and siying are back to support us.. i went to hug my beloved amelia! haha.. about 4.50 we rushed to LT3 for audition. phew.. we tot tt we were late.. later leave a bad impression...

when its our turn, my heart was thumping.. scare later go off-key.. then die liao.. so we sang.. i tink quite loud.. and yep, the audience clapped for us.. the feedback: GOOD! haha.. gd job to all!
quite glad tt i c some familar faces in the LT otherwise i may freaked out.. Yihan, Kok Kun as one of the judges and Wei Ming..

oh yes, we celebrated our conductress birthday! before the whole choir session, winston and i went to BBP and bought 2 polar cakes and a bouquet of roses..
then went to look for terence for night study.. yep.. tts the end of my programme.

later going to bible house for choir prac! gotta make-up and wear heels.. *pain*

i missed both fireworks display! arGhhh! i missed te 1st one because of choir prac..(i'm not blaming choir la.. i still love choir) and the 2nd one was because my parents are narrow-minded.. jus becasue there's no one fetch to me home, doesnt mean i cannot go home by myself rite? so wat its late at nite?

i tink most of us has read each other's blog about each other feelings.. i duno wat to say but i noe tt both sides are hurt deeply... definitely you will feel the pain if a strong friendship tt has built up for about 8months.. tt strong bond.. jus suddenly break.. and both sides are crying.. i dun have any say in this problem.. but i hope tt both will listen to each other and this cold battle will be overcome by this factor "friendship"..where there's no win or lose..
Yi Han has made a recap in her blog.. and yes, everyone shld reflect a lil.. i myself shld too.. to see if i hav torn both sides through my words.. i'm duno myself either.. i'm sorry.

after phy lect on 8/8, i went to look for my choir mates to practice our teachers item.. and the audition is tmr..! no worries about it i tink.. haha.. all of us can sing but we haven finished our last touch.. will continue later..

oh yes, i've an upcoming performance on 20 and 26 aug.. come down and support choir.. and most imptly, me! ticket is price at 12 bucks.. but trust me, its worth it. =) hmm.. got chio bu .. handsome guys ah.. maybe 1 or 2 loh.. chio bu alot.. haha.. from various schools and association. can approach me for tickets =)

Barely a year ago, Wild Empire was just a concept of a young adult
choir hatched by 4 young working professionals. With significant
experience running school and alumni choirs for the past decade, we
decided that the time is ripe for us to build our own, non-affiliated
choir. We hope to pursue choral opportunities world wide, and connect
with like-minded people through our music, so as to keep our flame for
all things choral, brightly glowing.

Wild Empire is led by Resident Choral Conductor, Ms Ong Chiak Yin.
Currently,
we are a 25-member strong choir, largely made up of choristers aged
18-31 who have had extensive choral experience in Singapore and
Overseas. The choristers are 'accomplished' in their own right -taken
part in several national and international choral competitions in UK,
Germany, Australia, Malaysia etc. and clinched Gold and Silver Awards.
Put together, the Wild Empire is a vibrant mix of characters creating
exciting choral happenings.

anyway update about wats happening..
Friday: early in the morning was chi lesson.. so each group must prepare their song.. well we changed our lyrics from the song Superwoman.. thanks to yi han's contribution.. we manage to make t successsful.. haha.. we recorded our voices in the garden(is it call a garden?) and jonathan was loud as it seems like only our hp managed to record his voice.. ok la.. its good to be loud anyway.. all of us did a great job.. haha.. oh my chi teacher can sing well too =), she sang to my ear when she's listening to us...

while waiting for geo to start, our class is playing bridge.. this is a hot game in my our class.. but i'm still kinda blur about the game.. messed up the game when i was playing with silvia, alec and alvin. then tt alec was koinda pissed off when i couldnt play the game well..wah lao.. also not i purposely to mess up the whole game.. i'm still new rite? practice makes perfect. =p
when geo was over, its time for us to go for phy.. however, most of us didnt complete the tys qn tt mr kow assigned to us. .so we asked to postpone the remedial to monday(tmr).. anyway i haven start doing yet.. i wil start after i blogged.. aiya.. no time to do hw!

after tt i went to look for my choirmates and gather them to prepare our teachers' day item. i booked MPR5 at abt 3.45 and we left at 4.20 lik tt since the archery ppl were outside waiting.. feel lil paiseh to make them wait.. but we booked the rm until 4.30.. so its aint our fault.. we even leave early la.

abt 4.30, we went to the parade square for the national day rehearsal.. we wana sing 'where i belong' and in the end, we got the 'my people my home'.. haha.. and we are singing the national anthem..wah sian.. but nvm.. at least we got to sing.

about 6.30, when the rest are dismissed, the remaining ones who are participating in the concert continued to prac our item.. we sang near the carpark so the netballers can hear us singing damn loud.. we get so hyped up until we 4got tt we are not supposed to sing so loud. we finished our prac at 7.30pm.. then i wen to look for my fren to study..
imagine singing for 4hrs? from 3.30 to 7.30 non stop.. and i want to sing more.. even when i'm studying.. the music keeps on running thru my mind. finally left sch at 9pm.

on sat, i met my good sec sch buddy so tt she can pass me her dress and we chat for a while.. however we got to stop our conversation since both of us are busy after 4.30pm..

i met my choir mates for prac.. supposedly we meet each other to prac the teachers' day song snd eneded we went for early dinner since the rest of the guys are having sectionals.. pei zhen, karissa and i went for dinner at pastamania and eventually we left.. haha.. y? we wana share the pizza but its too small for us and all of us wanted to share to save $$$.. we went to KFC as we wana try the tacobell and ended up we ate the meals of KFC..cheaper ma..

abt 6pm, we reached bible house for combined practice with NYJC and WE. we had to put on our dresses and put some make-up.. cos there's limited cubicles in the gals' toilet,.. we went to the guys' toilet to cahnge.. of cos we locked the door.. and the choir guys even guided the door for us.. wahaha

we finished our prac at abt 10.30pm.. quite late eh? tink while i'm practicing my songs.. my class was watching fireworks! wah.. leave me alone loh.. panseh me.. most of us walking on the street wih our prom dresses.. attracted the some attention.. ahha

oh btw, choir noticeboard is done! please go and take a look! especailly hightlighted this to choir members! today after school, i went to look for other excos members for meeting and the decoration of noticeboard.. it's very colourful now..as compared with previous noitceboard...haha.. mostly gotta thanks joanna for her template and hardwork for buying all the necessary stuffs.

oh yes, we are joining the talentine! so cool eh? i join talentine for the 1st time.. nev join any talentine in my life before.. i joined it is to build up my confidence, gain some exposure and most imptly, prmoting choir. haha =)
